Software engineer develops app that’s pretty much the same as all the other apps

Delaware – Local software engineer, David Brightman (38) sat down with us Monday to tell us the remarkable story behind how he developed a revolutionary new app that mostly does stuff that all the other apps do too.

“I was browsing the app store on my iPad one evening and suddenly it occurred to me to write an amazing app that did pretty much what other apps already did, but with an entirely different logo and name”.

You can import your photos or other documents and draw on them with your finger and you can use lots of amazing fonts and you can save your work as a pdf and email your output to your friends while tweeting about it – David Brightman, amazing app developer

“So for the next six weeks, I didn’t eat, didn’t sleep, didn’t play flappy bird and I shut myself off from the world and focussed on implementing all the amazingly great features that my great app would have, like all the other apps, but with a different logo and name”.

“You can import your photos or other documents and draw stuff on them with your finger and you can use lots of amazing fonts and you can save your work as a pdf or email your output to your friends while tweeting about it”, said Brightman, enthusiastically.

“There’s really nothing like it, apart from the other apps on the app store and also the ones on the google play store and the samsung app store and the other stores”.

“I like to think of it as a productivity app, but also a games app that straddles the business and pleasure fields”.

There’s really nothing like it, apart from the other apps.

“I’m already planning my next app with handwriting and voice recognition and something to do with the cloud”.

“So far, seven people have downloaded the ‘lite’ version of the program and one has upgraded to the ‘pro’ version for $1.99”.
