News is just reaching us here at Allium Towers that Mark Zuckerberg, C.E.O. of Facebook, which had the biggest Initial Public Offering in the history of the world, has now admitted that he has lost the root password.
“I’m so f***ing angry with myself”, said Zuckerberg, “I had even written it down in case I forgot it, but now I can’t find the piece of paper I wrote it on”.
“I tried logging in then, but when I clicked the “reset password” link, the email went straight into my SPAM filter and I have no clue how to retrieve emails when they go into the spam filter”.
“I’ve tried everything – control-alt-delete, rebooting the server, holding down the power key for ten seconds. Nothing is G*****m working.”
“The same thing happened me when I was in Harvard with a Pentium 386 and that pentium is still sitting there useless. We never got to log in to it again. I thought I had learned my lesson, but it seems not.”
I can’t find the piece of paper I wrote it on – Zuckerberg
News of this development has been greeted with joy by many of Facebook’s 1.2 billion users, who are hoping this means that Facebook stop dicking around with the interface for a while.
