Bristol, UK – In a detailed investigation of the scene, it has been confirmed that a total of five species died and three others were severely injured in what is now known as the Cambrian Explosion.
Palaeontologists rushed to the scene and were there within 542 million years.
“It was complete carnage in there”, said Palaeontologist Professor Bike Menton “There were species everywhere, man”.
“We are doing all we can to help the survivors, but right now, they are not doing so good either”.
It is not quite clear how the explosion started, but there are suggestions that somebody fell asleep and left a gas fire burning.
