In an exclusive interview with The Allium, a dung beetle confessed that he was getting a bit fed up with his diet.
A four week old Scarabaeus sacer beetle, who wished to remain anonymous, said that his diet of dung for breakfast, dung for lunch and dung for supper was getting a little old.
“I would definitely love some stew or maybe some nice pasta, but no, every day the same old shit”, said the beetle.
“It’s bad enough that I have to roll it around all over the desert all day, but then I just bury it and dig it up again and eat it”
“IT HAS BEEN ON THE GROUND, I shouldn’t be eating that stuff, it isn’t healthy”.
